Pre-School

Gallatin County Preschool is a FREE, high quality, half-day exceptional program with exceptional teachers.  Children will learn the early childhood learning standards through developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.  

 

Our Program:

• Four Day a Week (Monday-Thursday) Half Day Program (Morning Session-7:45 A.M.-10:45 A.M., Afternoon Session-11:35 A.M.-2:35 P.M.)
• Transportation and one meal provided
• Three Preschool Classrooms ( 20 Student Cap, each classroom has a teacher and paraprofessional)

Preschool Screening

All incoming preschool students must be screened prior to preschool enrollment to ensure he or she meets the district's current qualification criteria for preschool enrollment.  To be contacted for preschool screening, click Preschool 2023-2024 Screening  to access the screening form.  

For currently enrolled preschool students or preschool students who turn 4 on or before August 1, 2023 preschool screening will be July 26, 2023.  Please fill out the Preschool 2023-2024 Screening or call Gallatin County Lower Elementary School at 859-567-6340 to sign up.

Preschool Enrollment

YOUR CHILD MAY QUALIFY IF:

• The child  is a Gallatin County Schools resident.
• The child is 3 or 4 years old and displays delays in speech and/or challenges in attaining developmental skills that are needed to be successful in school. 
• The child is 4 years old by August 1 of the current school year.

YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEGIN PRESCHOOL WITHOUT ALL REQUIRED FORMS.
