All Call System
We use School Messenger - Please contact your school to make sure they have your correct phone number(you will receive email,sms text (may be a cost assoicated), and phone call. you can opt into sms texing by texting 68453 opt in.

In case of emergency it is imperative to listen to and/or have the All Call/twitter/facebook or access to our website for latest information.

The school district does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by the user. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.


Volunteer Information
Gallatin County School volunteers must have a criminal history background check according to the policy update. Volunteers must submit an authorization form for the background check to be processed. We do not charge for background checks.

The request form needs to be submitted at least four weeks prior to the volunteer service/event to provide ample time for processing. This refers to those going on field trips and/or participating with students in programs/ events as a volunteer. Results of each background screening will be received by the superintendent. The superintendent shall have the authority to disqualify any individual from participating in school and/or district programs as a volunteer based on Gallatin County School District Policies.


Notification of Rights
Title I – Part A and Title II – Part A: Parents have the right to request and receive information on the qualifications of their child’s teachers.  To make a request, please notify in writing, your child’s school principal.

Homeless Children and Youth
Homeless students are those who lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence.  Please notify the District Homeless Coordinator at (859) 567-1820 if you are aware of any students within the Gallatin County School District Boundaries whom meet this criteria
